On May 25th, 2022, the signing ceremony of the "Low-carbon Action · School-enterprise Linkage" activity jointly held by Zhejiang Jiaren New Materials Co., Ltd. and Shaoxing University was held in the lecture hall on the first floor of Library of Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences. Liu Guoqing, Vice President of Shaoxing University, Li Qizheng, President and Secretary General of Zhejiang Textile Engineering Society, Gu Riqiang, General manager of Zhejiang Gajal New Materials Co., LTD., and representative students of Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences attended the activity.
The College of Arts and Science not only has excellent academic atmosphere, but also its positive contribution to the local society in the aspect of green environmental protection coincides with the green mission of "creating low-carbon regeneration and leading green fashion". Our country is not only a large country of population but also a large country of textile production, the textile industry is also a pillar industry in Shaoxing which has a great contribution to local economic development.
However, as far as the problems are concerned, in recent years, not only the recycling rate of waste textiles is extremely low, but both incineration and landfill will cause great pollution to the environment. To this end, on the basis of practicing the concept of green environmental protection, Jiaren New Materials is willing to work with Shaoxing University to further deepen the integration of school, enterprise, production and education. On the basis of cultivating potential talents for the school and enterprises and enhancing the environmental awareness of contemporary college students, we will practice the concept of low-carbon environmental protection and circular economy, and make contributions to the green and healthy development of the local society.
In the event, President Liu pointed out that the creation of the innovation and creative platform of Multi-innovation is aimed at improving college students' innovative design ability and practical ability, and encouraging young college students to be dreamers in the new era. Subsequently, the leaders held a signing ceremony on the demonstration base of "Low-carbon action, school-enterprise linkage" integrating textile and garment production and education with students' education practice.
On the same day, the public benefit activity, jointly organized by the Jiaren New Materials and the Textile School of the College of Arts and Sciences, was held in front of the Chi-lian Building of the College of Arts and Sciences. Students volunteered to donate their waste clothes to contribute to the cause of recycling and environmental protection.
